Data on computers and other digital media can get lost at times, due to a fault with the software or just accidentally deleted.

When data is deleted it remains on the computer hard drive until it is overwritten.  This gives us the opportunity to recover data long after it has been deleted.

Unfortunately it is a bit hit or miss as to what we can get back, usually dictated by the size of the hard drive and how much data has been saved since the file was lost.
